Cost Engineer Opportunity – Major Defence Infrastructure Projects ️
Are you a skilled Cost Engineer looking for an exciting challenge? Join our team and play a key role in delivering major defence infrastructure projects! ️
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities:
* Estimating & Cost Analysis – Define scope, develop schedules, and benchmark costs.
* Cost Control & Reporting – Support forecasting, variance reporting, and EAC management.
* Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with key project teams to ensure financial transparency.
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Cost engineering experience in infrastructure or defence. ✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ✔️ Excellent communication and financial reporting abilities.
Project Interfaces:
Key Stakeholders: Client Cost Manager, Client Project Managers, Accounts, JV Project Manager & Project Controls Manager.
* Lead cost reporting & forecasting in line with project schedules.
* Drive the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
* Oversee change impact for budget control & financial planning.

Qualifications
Qualification, Special Skills or Experience:
✅ Previous experience or a sound understanding of the following is highly advantageous:
Cost Management & Contract Management (e.g., NEC) Management of EAC Process Earned Value Management Stakeholder Liaison & Forecasting
