Are you an experienced Head of Sales?
About the Role
1. To be based around the Birmingham / central regions.
What Will I be doing?
2. Reporting to the regional I&C general manager the regional head of sale will be managing multi-functional regional sales team.
3. Responsible for all sales across region and direct management of regional and local accounts.
4. Recognise growth targets from business strategy in line with portfolio business requirement whilst maintaining margin integrity.
5. To Facilitate niche market opportunities, to build Suez profile in market and heighten brand awareness.
6. Build successful Sales team with culture of ‘winning’
7. Managing all regional sales and account management functions to achieve targets.
8. Develop people through training and coaching to ensure each team member has the skills for both current and future roles. Ability to recognise talent within team.
9. Working with the Regional I&C general manager to create pricing strategies to achieve maximum growth whilst offering clients value for money.
10. Ensure sales tools are utilised and all activity recorded accurately on CRM.
11. Own and develop key strategic customer accounts, ensuring retention and revenue growth during a key expansion phase
12. Balance hands‑on account management with building and shaping a high‑performing sales function
What are the Requirements?
13. Minimum of 3 years managing a multi-functional Sales team for both inbound and outbound sales opportunities.
14. Experience of working alongside marketing in delivering dynamic sales campaigns backed with marketing literature.
15. Proven track record in delivering and exceeding sales targets.
16. Commercial understanding of bid process and demonstrate success in winning business through Sales process including delivering presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
17. Strong financial understanding delivering growth at required margins.
18. Knowledge of Waste and Recycling market advantageous.
