Job Description
What you’ll do
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs.
We are currently looking for a lovely, kind person to join a fantastic team of carers and enable a young lady to live her best life! This lady requires care and support following a Spinal Cord Injury. She lives with her sister and a cheeky tabby cat, so animal lovers are essential. She has a real passion for rare plants and all things green and finds they provide a mindful and relaxing outlet to life. She enjoys going out and exploring new places and experiences.
Your role is to assist her in these activities and enable her to enjoy a good quality of life. All we are looking for is a kind human who is willing to learn and is a good listener with a “can do” attitude who can follow instructions and have a laugh! You don’t need previous complex care experience, but it is useful. Thorough training and support will be given.
