About The Role
As a Night Senior Care Assistant at Foley Grange, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our care. Every person working here understands that our residents are people with their own stories, just like them. Joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
Note: We have 35.5-hour contracts available, working days or nights.
You will plan and deliver care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. Building relationships with residents and their families, you will help ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Responsibilities include guiding residents in using mobility aids, assisting at end of life, communicating with families, providing social and recreational activities, and administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are key responsibilities. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; you must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to act. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training and other relevant courses. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
