GSL Education are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to assist schools based in Barnsley, across the S70 and S71 areas, contributing to pupil progress and classroom success. In this role, the Teaching Assistant (TA) will support teachers with individual and group learning, foster engagement, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and motivated. Prime Responsibilities: Assist with classroom activities, resources, and lesson delivery. Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with varying needs. Encourage engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour. Work collaboratively with teachers to monitor progress and provide feedback. Help maintain a structured and well-managed classroom environment. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role. Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and support pupils with diverse learning needs. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
