Job Title: Bilingual Relocation Coordinator
Location: Newark, CA 94560
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $50,000 – $55,000 annually
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Bilingual Relocation Coordinator to join our team in Newark, CA. This is a 100% onsite, direct hire opportunity ideal for individuals looking to grow in the international shipping and relocation industry. The Relocation Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and professional relocation experience for clients by coordinating packing, transportation, and delivery of household goods.
This position is also an excellent stepping stone to future career paths in Dispatch or Customer Service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and assist with packing, loading, and preparing household goods for shipment
* Provide excellent service and guidance to customers throughout the relocation process
* Operate company vehicles (trucks or vans) for pickups and deliveries as needed
* Organize, palletize, and prepare shipments for transport
* Handle goods with care at both warehouse and client locations
* Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times, including following cultural norms (e.g., removing shoes when entering homes)
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient relocations
Minimum Qualifications:
* Strong verbal communication skills in English
* Ability to perform basic calculations
* Dependable, punctual, and efficient with time management
* Ability to read and write in English or Japanese at a level sufficient for understanding instructions and documentation
* Valid Driver’s License required
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bilingual: Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and/or written)
* Familiarity with Japanese culture, customs, and social etiquette
* Experience in moving, relocation services, logistics, or customer service
