I'm currently working with a key client who is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join the team.
Location Manchester (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
Manage and process end-to-end monthly payrolls (approx. 400 employees).
Administer and reconcile pension schemes, including auto-enrolments.
Perform HMRC payment reconciliations.
Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure strict confidentiality of employee data.
Handle manual payroll calculations when required.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years experience in payroll, either in-house or within a payroll bureau.
In-depth understanding of current payroll legislation.
Strong knowledge of auto-enrolment rules and pension administration.
Demonstrable experience with statutory payments including Maternity, Adoption, Shared Parental, Paternity, and Bereavement Pay.
Confident in performing manual calculations and resolving payroll queries.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office packages.
Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
