We’re looking for a passionate and driven Band 6 Nurse to step into the role of Deputy Ward Manager on Cunliffe Ward—a dynamic, fast-paced 25-bed Renal unit, including 4 Renal HDU beds. This is your chance to thrive in a high-performing clinical environment that champions excellence in patient care. As a key member of our dedicated nursing team, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of renal services and supporting colleagues in delivering outstanding care.
Responsibilities
* Lead the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care programmes.
* Manage and supervise a team of staff during the Ward Sister’s absence.
* Deliver consistently high standards of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
* Ensure clinical practice is evidence-based and aligned with current best practices, from admission through to discharge.

You will be supported by the Ward Manager, Practice Development Nurse, and Matron to pursue both professional and personal growth. Opportunities include:

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; however, applications are welcomed from both Welsh and English speakers.
