This is an opportunity to join our dynamic rotational programme for foundation pharmacists at South Tees Hospitals. We currently have an array of rotational areas, each of which has its own unique opportunities for learning both clinical and professional skills. You will spend 4 months in each rotation.
Each rotation involves working with an expert team of specialist pharmacists, dedicated medicines management technicians and other highly skilled pharmacy staff. Your role will include providing the highest quality pharmacy services to both patients and health care professionals across the wards and departments at South Tees Hospitals.

Role Responsibilities
* Rota’d time in dispensary (all other time based on ward/ in clinical environment)
* 1 day weekend working once every 5 weeks (reimbursed with a weekday off the following week)
* 1 ‘late night’ shift every 2 weeks (working hours 9am-5.30pm)
* On call duties on a rolling rota basis, approximately 1 in 60.
The pharmacy department at South Tees hosts over 180 members of staff and provides a stimulating, friendly, and professionally rewarding environment for staff to develop their clinical expertise and professionalism.

Leadership and Improvement Training
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff. After you complete these six and a half days of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities. We also offer a range of additional in-house and externally provided courses and bitesize programmes through our Leadership and Improvement Team.
