Our client, a well-established leader in the logistics market is recruiting for a Line Leader on a Temporary to Permanent basis at the Minworth depot.
The role holder will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
1. To manage production lines and labour to meet planned volume and commercial targets, and in accordance with QA and safety standards
2. To effectively motivate a team of people to meet production targets
3. Ensure the final product meets client specifications
4. To effectively maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basis
5. Effectively use the integrated management system
6. Ability to report H&S issues
7. To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulations
8. To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures
9. To ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external
10. To ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to
11. To liaise with agency controllers on a day to day basis providing feedback regarding agency workers
12. To attend team leader meetings
13. To assist in the training and development of new starters
14. To act as a role model for best practice
15. Monitor, control and minimise waste
16. Play an active part in continuous improvement
17. To conduct RTW and disciplinary interviews as required
18. To participate in the companies appraisal system
19. Drive own personal development through training and work based experience
20. To undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post
