Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday, with occasional attendance at external events outside normal working hours.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £73,812 per annum
Location: Based at Sale Road, Norwich with travel to other sites as and when required.
Vehicle & Driver's Licence Requirement:
* Due to the nature of the role a driver licence with business insurance and access to a vehicle is essential for this role; mileage is paid at 45p per mile for cars after your home to work base mileage is deducted.
The Director of Operations is a senior executive leader responsible for the planning, delivery, quality, safety and sustainability of Norfolk and Waveney Mind's mental health services. Working through Heads of Service, the postholder ensures services are recovery focused, person centred, effective and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve.
A central priority of the role is to stabilise and strengthen existing services while enabling sustainable growth and service expansion across the Charity. As the Director of Operations you will ensure strong governance, robust regulatory compliance and a culture of continuous quality improvement.
This is a highly visible, hands on leadership role requiring regular presence across the county. The postholder will inspire and enable excellent leadership, management and practice, acting as a visible champion of mental wellbeing for a workforce that includes many staff and volunteers with lived experience of mental ill health.
