Our client is a well-respected independent insurance brokerage with multiple branches across Yorkshire. Currently in growth and succession planning phases, they are seeking to fill various roles.
This role is ideal for someone aspiring to become an account executive, seeking solid training rather than immediate independence.
The position initially involves internal, desk-based work focusing on SME and small commercial clients (premiums up to £5,000). Responsibilities include marketing, prospecting, networking, contacting potential clients, providing quotations, and converting prospects into clients.
As experience grows, you'll handle larger clients and work towards CII qualifications to deepen your technical expertise. Opportunities to meet clients face-to-face and shadow experienced account executives will help build your confidence.
The goal is to achieve full account executive status within 12-18 months, enabling you to service existing clients and develop new business.
Applicants should have a good knowledge of various commercial insurance classes, be hardworking, committed, ambitious, and excellent communicators who are confident in asking for business. We consider candidates from broking, sales, and underwriting backgrounds.
