We’re looking for Support Workers at our Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, which offers rehabilitation, care, and support to individuals with brain injuries or neurological conditions. Our goal is to help each person feel safe, happy, and empowered to live their best life.
We provide a psychology-led multidisciplinary treatment model to deliver high-quality, specialized services for people with neuro disabilities or acquired brain injuries.
This is a full-time position with flexible day and night shifts.
Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred care tailored to the needs of our young residents
* Build open, trusting relationships with patients
* Support patients in their rehabilitation programs
* Establish effective communication methods, reducing barriers as needed
* Assist with mealtimes and personal care when required
* Communicate any issues to the clinical team promptly
* Accurately record and report work activities
Requirements
What you’ll have:
* A genuine interest in providing person-centred care
* Effective communication skills at all levels
* Experience in care or mental health is advantageous but not essential
* Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
