Job Description
* Preparing monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
* Assisting in the annual budget process and conducting regular budget reviews
* Providing financial advice to non-finance staff across the organisation
* Ensuring financial compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
* Analysing financial performance and making longer-term forecasts
* Participating in internal and external audits
* Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* Actively studying towards qualification (ACCA, CIMA or similar) or QBE
* Previous experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector is essential
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues
