Marketing & Events Manager – Merchants We are seeking a full-time, permanent Marketing & Events Manager –to join the team based in Pampisford to manage and deliver branch events and in-store activity across our nationwide network of builders merchants. We are looking for a confident, outgoing and organised marketing professional to take ownership of tactical and strategic marketing initiatives across our merchant business. This is a hands-on role, requiring a proven track record in executing effective campaigns and a strong background in event management. As the Marketing & Events Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and analysing marketing activities and events, targeted at tradespeople across the UK. Event planning – themes, locations, calendar, objective and KPI setting, in collaboration with Commercial and Operations teams Local activation of community engagement initiatives and campaigns Creative and copywriting, including briefing graphic designer Event promotion through social media, POS, email Coordinate prizes and event competitions Production of colleague engagement and communication packs Coordinating supplier liaison (attendance, engagement and contribution) Work with category teams to identify appropriate “on the day” deals Pre -event colleague briefing sessions Data capture at event / database management Production and distribution of event promotional merchandise Post event internal communications/ updates / feedback loop Customer follow up comms This role will involve regular fully expensed travel across England, Wales and Scotland. A full UK driving licence is a requirement for the role. Familiarity with UK construction and merchant sectors, including key players is desirable but not essential.
