Global Senior Buyer - Soft FM | £45,000 to £52,000 | bonus | excellent benefits | London, Hampshire or Warwickshire - c 1 day a week in the office, more business-led than set days | A global professional services business operating in 20 countries This is a great opportunity to join a global FTSE 100 business, which is a result of an internal promotion, which is a huge selling point for this company where progression or promotions are given on merit. They are looking for an experienced Global Senior Buyer, to join focussing on Soft FM spend but will consider a more all rounded FM category expert, managing end to end projects, working on strategic category management with key stakeholders but still looking at commercial negotiation. Role and responsibilities: Reporting into the Head of Global Procurement - FM in a good sized category team Create relevant category strategies through to the delivery and performance including year on year annualised savings Develop category plans and strategies to ensure alignment for the group, leveraging suppliers to support local offices Support the development of category strategies to a clear and prioritised pipeline of sourcing projects Engage, manage and influence senior stakeholders from Director to Board level to ensure buy-in, utilising strong market knowledge Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a rounded knowledge of a suppliers performance Monitor supplier risk and performance through reporting tools and business feedback On top over delivering strategic projects, ensure the business is getting the best service in line with cost efficiency Experience and requirements: Recent or current extensive FM category experience, any Soft FM projects are preferable Worked for a large, complex business ideally in the private sector that has multiple sites and offices Ability to engage, negotiate and influence senior stakeholders up to Director level Strong stakeholder management, using different approaches to type, level and maturity of relationship Analytical mindset and have strong communication skills to present ideas to the business Worked in a large and cross-functional procurement team MCIPS qualification nice to have, but not essential
