You will be working in the Building Services team based in Midlothian Schools, Scotland. As the Facilities Assistant you will:
* Undertaking minor maintenance work such as lamp changing
* Assisting with all aspects of the upkeep of the grounds, roadways and car
* parks, litter picking
* Fire & Emergency system testing
* Carrying out repairs to fixtures and fittings
* Water Testing
We are looking for:
* Experience of working within a school environment
* Experience of working within a maintenance environment
* Proven experience of working in a busy and demanding customer focused environment
* Demonstrable maintenance skills such as home maintenance, etc
* Ability to use office computer systems including e-mail, spreadsheets, and databases.
