Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Clapham (Hybrid – up to 2 days working from home)
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 depending on experience

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Group Senior Management Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced finance team. This is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure across the business. As the company continues to grow, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to new projects and help shape financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Reconcile bank accounts and ensure receipts/invoices are attached to all expenses, liaising with card users across the business
* Prepare monthly management accounts for review by the Finance Director
* Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate depreciation
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts at month end and post prepayments and accruals
* Prepare cashflow reports for review
* Process purchase invoices and monitor the shared invoices inbox
* Resolve invoice queries promptly
* Review aged creditors and reconcile supplier accounts monthly
* Prepare weekly payment runs
* Review and submit quarterly VAT returns
* Assist with monthly payroll processes
* Support the ongoing improvement of internal controls and finance processes
* Undertake ad hoc finance tasks and cross-departmental projects as required
Candidate Requirements
* Experience preparing management accounts, posting month-end journals, and balance sheet reconciliations
* Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy
* Proactive problem solver with the ability to use initiative
* Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
* Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
* Self-motivated and keen to take on additional responsibility
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues
* Experience using Xero is beneficial but not essential
