What We're Looking For: Completion of the National Care Certificate, Confident and competent in, ECG recording, Venepuncture and Cannulation, Experience with Stroke Patients, A team player with excellent communication and time management skills
You'll need to be flexible and able to work a rotational shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

This post is being advertised as a Band 3, however applicants that do not meet the required care certificate competencies will initially be employed as a Band 2. Applicants who hold a care certificate accreditation will start in post at Band 3.
Main duties of the job
We have a part time HCSW position of 30 hours P/W available on the Stroke Unit Royal Bournemouth Hospital. We are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week - therefore, we require you to be fullyflexible across all shift patterns, including weekdays, weekends, nights and bank holidays.
As part of the selection process you will be required to complete a numeracy and literacy assessment alongside an interview.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good standard of general education including numeracy and literacy GCSE
* Completion of the National Care Certificate
* NVQ level 3 in care
Experience
* Experience working with patients as a HCSW
* Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Experience working with Stroke Patients
Technical skills
* Venepuncture and cannulation
* ECGs
Knowledge
* Knowledge of when to seek advice and refer to a registered care professional
