Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Salisbury for an Assistant Branch Manager. The Assistant Branch Manager will support the day-to-day operations of the branch, assist in delivering excellent customer service, manage inventory, and ensure the smooth running of sales and distribution. Responsibilities include supervising team members, overseeing stock management, optimizing sales, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols while leading by example to maintain high standards.
Qualifications
* Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* Experience in customer service and a strong focus on delivering excellent customer care
* Familiarity with stock control, inventory management, and operational processes
* Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
* Experience in the building materials or related industry is advantageous
* Proficiency in basic IT systems, such as Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of health and safety protocols and compliance requirements
* A positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
