We’re giving the beautiful building of The Blue Stoops a new set of clothes — a stunning renovation & bold expansion.
Now we need a Restaurant Manager who will lead our front of house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences every single time. You’ll work alongside our General Manager, Head Chef and Bar Manager to ensure top-quality food, outstanding service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
If successful, training will take place at our neighbouring site, The Hunloke Arms in Chesterfield – ready for launch
What the role entails
- Leading by example to maximise both guest and team experience.
- Building and inspiring a highly skilled, motivated team who love what they do.
- Working closely with the General Manager, Head Chef and Bar Manager to ensure guests receive excellent food & drink, efficient service, and a warm & friendly environment.
- Driving a culture of learning & development across your front of house team to enhance guest satisfaction and boost team engagement.
- Conducting monthly team meetings, 1:1s and personal development reviews to support and motivate your team.
- Monitoring ticket times, food and drink quality, and overall guest experience — resolving any complaints with warmth and professionalism.
- Ensuring full menu knowledge for yourself and your team, so you can confidently recommend dishes and answer guest questions.
- Leading from the front, building a strong partnership with your Assistant Restaurant Manager to create a positive, engaged, high-performing team.
- Growing your restaurant team and developing future leaders with a proactive approach to training and career progression.
