We are currently recruiting for 2 Teaching Assistants with previous experience to support in a Y1 class as a general TA in Stevenage for a long term position.
Your role will be to support the teacher, whole class, small groups and 1:1 for specific support and progress. At this point in the academic year SAT's and attainment will be an area of focus, so prior intervention, SAT's and a curriculum knowledge will be preferred skills.
This is a full time position - Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 3:30

Your requirements to get cleared for this role:
* An Enhanced child DBS on the update service
* Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
* Able to make an impression on both us and our client
* Previous experience working with children is required
* Flexibly adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner
* Good classroom management skills
