Responsibilities
of the Technical Coordinator:
1. Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
2. Oversee and manage Building Regulations approvals and condition discharges.
3. Review and coordinate technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
4. Manage section agreements (S38, S104, S278) from instruction through to completion.
5. Liaise with utility providers to coordinate service designs and installations.
6. Support site teams in resolving technical queries and challenges.
7. Work closely with consultants, contractors, and local authorities to meet project timelines.
8. Ensure all work meets NHBC and Building Regulations standards.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
9. Previous experience as a Technical Coordinator, Architectural Technician, or Engineer within residential development.
10. Good working knowledge of Building Regulations, planning processes, and section agreements.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
12. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
13. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
