Domiciliary Care Worker Merthyr Tydfil County £14.50–£15 per hour (includes paid travel between client visits) We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Temporary Domiciliary Care Workers in Merthyr Tydfil County. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide essential support and companionship to adults in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life. Role Responsibilities: Travel safely and efficiently between clients’ homes, ensuring punctuality and professionalism, with travel time paid between visits Provide high-quality personal care, including support with washing, dressing, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, and supporting clients with their routines Support with moving and handling, using appropriate equipment such as hoists and mobility aids safely and in line with training Administer medication where trained to do so, ensuring accurate recording and adherence to care plans and procedures Offer companionship and emotional support, building positive and trusting relationships with clients Encourage and promote independence, respecting each client’s dignity, choices, and individual needs at all times Monitor and report any changes in a client’s condition or wellbeing to the appropriate team members Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and regulatory standards Requirements: 6 months previous UK care/support experience Experience with moving and handling, using equipment such as hoists Caring, reliable, and compassionate nature Ability to work flexible hours Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Driving license and vehicle preferred SCW Registration About the Company Completely Care is a specialist recruitment agency supporting the health & social care, education, and childcare sectors.
