Job Overview
IKEA Leeds is looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead the Fulfilment Operations Team. The role focuses on supporting the outbound goods operation, ensuring customers can find and receive the products they want.
Responsibilities
* Ensure efficient daily operation within outbound fulfilment, making goods available for customer pick‑up and ensuring workers are available to support them.
* Coach, develop, and inspire a motivated team, maintaining a work environment supporting equality, diversity, inclusion and well‑being.
* Maintain a clean, organised, safe work environment in accordance with IKEA health, safety, and security regulations and Code of Conduct.
* Work with the team to reach business goals, review workloads to guarantee daily volume handling and meet seasonal demands while keeping costs low.
Qualifications
* Experience leading a large team in a busy warehouse environment and ability to prioritise and organise own and others workload.
* Results‑driven with a clear customer focus, able to meet budgets and goals, make quick decisions and take initiative; adaptable to changing circumstances.
* Strong communication skills to build relationships with co‑workers and customers.
* Ability to implement structural ways of working, problem‑solving experience and proficient computer literacy.
* Collaborative spirit, keen to contribute a fresh outlook to the team.
* Experience building relationships with cross‑functional partners to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Benefits and Working Conditions
* Start date in April, final date to be discussed; 39 hours per week including alternate weekends.
* Salary starting from £29,215 per annum, based on skills & experience.
