Position: Business Apprentice/Consultant
Contract: Full-Time

About Us
We are a growing, family-run woodworking company specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality bespoke kitchens and furniture. Established in 1987, we have built a strong reputation for craftsmanship, precision, and customer service. We take pride in every detail, from the initial concept to the final installation.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated apprentice to join our office team to learn and grow with us.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an interest in bespoke furniture and design. As a rotational apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across a range of business functions including design, project management, procurement, and process optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in coordinating bespoke projects from enquiry to delivery.
* Support with day-to-day administrative tasks and general office duties.
* Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and staff.
* Help optimise processes and contribute ideas to improve efficiency in both the office and workshop.
* Maintain and manage job records, schedules, and spreadsheets.
* Support procurement and inventory management.
* Assist with basic accounts and financial tasks.
* Learn about the design, manufacturing, and delivery process for bespoke projects.
What We’re Looking For:
As a small team of 8, we’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute across multiple areas of the business.
* A creative and self-motivated individual.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
* Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
* Awareness of working to deadlines and managing time effectively.
Requirements:
* Must be eligible to work in the UK.
* GCSEs (Grades A-C / 9-4) in Maths and English.
* Good understanding of IT and basic software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, spreadsheets).
