Part of Hastings District Council, Toitoi Hawke’s Bay Arts and Events Centre has a wide range of spaces on offer for events of any size. With the historic Opera House at its heart, Toitoi offers a unique blend of awe-inspiring heritage architecture and modern technology. It truly is a venue unlike any other in Aotearoa.
We are looking for an amazing Cleaner (Operations Assistant). As well as general cleaning duties, you will also have the opportunity to get involved in Toitoi behind the scenes, helping with event setup and coordinating our backstage facilities.
This is a full-time role working rostered shifts including evening shifts and weekend shifts.

To be successful in this role you will:
* Have experience in building cleaning and knowledge of cleaning chemicals and hazards
* Have strong attention to detail, good organisational skills and high standards of customer service
* Be physically fit
* Have a strong work ethic with proven high work attendance record
* Be available for both day and evening shifts
This role is part of the Community Wellbeing & Services Group. The Group includes Libraries, Community Centres, Sports Centre, Aquatics Hastings, Social & Youth Development, Toitoi Hawkes Bay Arts & Events Centre.
