Senior Controller – Settlement
Location: Belfast or Dublin
Type: Full-time | Hybrid Working Available
A leading organisation within the energy sector is seeking a Senior Controller – Settlement to join their operations team supporting electricity market settlement activities across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Duties:
·Coordinate daily settlement processing activities
·Resolve operational and settlement-related issues
·Respond to market participant queries within agreed timelines
·Monitor compliance with procedures, codes and KPIs
·Support operational delivery and business continuity across teams
·Assist with process improvements and documentation updates
·Support training and development of team members
·Participate in testing activities within the settlements function
·Produce operational and market reporting
·Escalate significant issues and support corrective actions where required
Candidate Requirements:
Essential
·Third-level qualification (or equivalent) in Business, IT or a related discipline
·Minimum 3 years’ experience within an administrative, operational or business environment
·Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
·High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
·Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
Desirable
·Experience working within a regulated environment
·Knowledge of settlement processes, market procedures or electricity market operations
·Experience in process improvement, reporting or operational optimisation initiatives
