Based in Cambridge, our client is pioneering a smarter way forward in the design of wireless technology. They have developed a breakthrough solution that simplifies design architectures, streamlines production and reduces supply chain waste. They have been identified as start-up to watch and are on a strong upward trajectory with big expansion plans. To join their freshly created IC Design team, they seek a Senior RF IC Design Engineer to be responsible for: Designing RF circuits including wide band LNAs, RF switches, digitally tuneable capacitors and other Analog circuits Supporting silicon RF IC circuit integration into multi-chip Modules Setting up co-simulation environments, developing simulation models Using RF measurement equipment and troubleshooting measurement issues Mentoring less experienced IC Engineers in the group, and fostering a positive, supportive working culture within the team The Successful Applicant Will Have Established experience in RF IC Design with extensive experience with Cadence tools Experience in RF IC Design using various silicon technologies, including SOI as well as detailed transistor level knowledge including LNAs Experience of the Cadence toolsuite (Spectre would be a plus) Excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the drive to really make an impact within a fast-moving start-up.
