We are currently seeking a dedicated
Finning Engineer
to join our team in one of the following locations:
Leeds, Cannock, Cardiff, or Glasgow
. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary ranging from
£38,500 to £43,800

As a Finning Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Responding to customer field repair and service requests, diagnosing issues, and providing detailed information for quotes. Estimating arrival times based on job instructions and customer locations. Communicating with site management to register your presence and adhere to customer procedures. Diagnosing equipment problems using specialized tools and collaborating with customer operators. Identifying required parts for repairs and managing requisitions. Performing repair and service work on a variety of Caterpillar engines and generators. What You Need
To thrive in this role, you should have: A valid
LDV driving license
. Formal training (NVQ Level 3 preferred) and significant experience as a service engineer. Experience with gas and diesel engines, including both LV and HV generators. Knowledge of field-based diagnostic tools and equipment. Experience with assembly and disassembly of diesel engines and components. Familiarity with Caterpillar large engines (e.g., 3400, 3500, 3600 series) and MWM, MAK series. Why Finning?
