StaffAnalog/Mixed SignalIC Layout Engineer(P4)
Location:Limerick, Ireland or Edinburgh UK
The Position
Analog Devices is seeking a staffanalog/mixedsignal IClayoutengineerfor its Data Center & Energy (DCE) group in Limerick, Ireland. Within DCE, we deliver high reliability power, connectivity, and analytics solutions for modern data centers and energy infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be working on cutting-edge new products with exposure to the full range of precision technologyincluding ADCs, DACs,converters, references, amplifiers,and switches.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Take responsibility/ownership for layout of full chip designs and large-scale sub blocks, including scheduling, floorplanning, verification and tapeout
2. Work collaboratively with the design team and support teams (foundry, assembly, reliability, failure analysis etc.) to achieve the desired product performance and quality
3. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers; establish best practices and reusable IP
MinimumQualifications:
The ideal candidate should havea strong knowledge oflayout technique, be self-motivated,bewilling to accept responsibility,and show initiative inidentifying and solving challenginglayoutproblems.
4. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent
5. Ideally have7+ years of experience of full custom IC Layout specializing in analog/mixed-signal electronics
6. Experience in use of Cadence Virtuoso including proficiency in use of VXL
7. High proficiency in interpretation and debug of verification (LVS/DRC/ANTENNA etc.)
8. Expertise in standard layout practices such as layout matching, parasitic, noise, shielding, supply consideration, latch up and ESD
9. Excellent planning and organizational skills
10. Good interpersonal, communications skills and report generation
11. Ability to work well in a global team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
12. Experience withhighvoltagelayout
13. Experience with BiCMOS layout
14. Knowledge of skill scripting and advance Cadence usage
15. Experience with deep submicron technologies (FinFET)
16. Experience with precisionanalog circuitssuch as Amplifiers, Voltage references etc.
