The role is based primarily on‑site and involves working closely with local employers to create high‑quality placement opportunities that align with curriculum needs and meet all contractual and administrative requirements. Key Responsibilities
* Support students in securing meaningful work placements across Chelmsford College campuses.
* Work closely with local employers to create high‑quality placement opportunities aligned with curriculum requirements.
* Engage, generate leads and build partnerships with businesses to secure placement agreements.
* Support young people in preparing for the workplace, ensuring they have the necessary skills and confidence.
* Maintain placement records, manage documentation and ensure compliance with contractual and administrative processes.
* Collaborate with curriculum managers to coordinate events that enhance the student experience and strengthen employer relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Background in business development, employer engagement, sales or similar experience.
* Proven ability to connect with businesses, identify opportunities and convert conversations into placement agreements.
* Strong IT and administrative skills, with experience managing records and documentation.
* Full driving licence and personal transport (travel to employer workplaces is required).
* Commitment to equality, diversity, safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people.
* Enhanced DBS check required.
Salary & Hours
Salary up to £30,372 per annum. Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
