What you need to know about the role
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you’ll work in a small group of electrical project engineers supporting manufacturing operations & projects, setting electrical standards and improving electrical compliance. Additionally role will have some responsibility for a number of central service contracts.
You’ll support a range of engineering activities, including:
• PLC, drives and Scada fault finding, development and replacement.
• Maintenance of site electrical record storage & associated systems.
• Support business and manufacturing plan electrical duty holders with up to date technical and compliance information.
• Project involvement, from design and technical submissions through to installation and commissioning of capital works.
• Technical leads for various electrical and instrumentation technologies.
• Develop and update internal electrical technical standards.
• Assist customers with performance and reliability improvements, identifying areas for enhancement and delivering practical solutions.
• Safety-first mindset, ensuring all activities align with our rigorous safety standards.

What we’re looking for
A qualified and experienced engineer, with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement in a fast-paced industrial setting.
You’ll bring:
• A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering ideally, however other qualifications and experience will be considered.
• Experience in a maintenance or project engineering role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset – able to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• A proactive, safety-conscious approach to engineering and plant operations
