Apply Today for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as the Fabricator Welder include:Reading Technical Drawings: Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications accuratelySteel Fabrication: Fabricate and assemble structural steel sections including UB, UC, PFC and CHSWelding Operations: Carry out welding, cutting and grinding to meet project requirementsUse of Equipment: Operate hand tools, fabrication machinery and measuring equipment safelyQuality Control: Ensure fabricated components meet dimensional accuracy and quality standardsLifting Operations: Safely operate overhead cranes and lifting equipmentHealth and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all workshop health and safety procedures at all timesHousekeeping Standards: Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environmentTeam Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to meet production deadlinesCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSPrevious experience in structural steel fabrication and weldingAbility to read and understand engineering and fabrication drawingsProficiency in welding and general metalworking processesStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipExperience using fabrication machinery and hand tools safelyGood physical fitness and ability to handle steel materialsA safety-conscious approach with knowledge of workshop H&S proceduresReliable, punctual and dependable with a strong work ethicGood communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a teamTrade qualification in fabrication or welding (preferred but not essential)HOW TO APPLYTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
