 
        
        Overview
Reporting into the Regional Business Manager, you will work as part of a team of Tail Lift Engineers covering an area across Swindon. The focus will be the Maintenance and Repair of Tail Lift equipment used on large distribution vehicles.
Responsibilities
 * Installation, servicing and repair of tail lifts, double deck, VBG, shutter door equipment; manage costs of stock used on contract accounts and maximise revenue generation in all areas.
 * Liaise with central control and/or the service centre regarding job start and completion times, downtime and overtime authorisation; cost updates and customer purchase orders.
 * Undertake company training (at the dedicated training centre in Aldridge, Birmingham) and self-development through attendance on manufacturers\' courses, company online courses (E-Learning) certification processes.
 * Hold a UK driving licence. Travel is required; van and major tools are supplied along with a Company Fuel Card. Additional payment for overnight stays (for training). You will also be paid door to door (from leaving your home to arriving back home).
 * Experience as a Tail lift / Commercial Engineer.
 * Commercial experience on electro-mechanical systems including engines, compressors and hydraulics.
 * Understanding/experience in repairing and diagnosing hydraulics.
 * Welding certification.
 * NVQ Level hydraulics/electrics (desirable) or equivalent experience of working to manufacturers\' standards.
