We’re a global leader in fire safety consultancy. We’re looking for a Business Development Manager from construction or related sectors. No vague job descriptions. No cut-and-paste.
Is this you?
You’ve got 5+ years in business development, ideally in construction, civils, or building materials. You know fire safety isn’t a tick-box. You’re bored of selling things that don’t matter—and really bored of job ads that read like legal documents.
What you’ll actually enjoy:

Finding new clients (architects, contractors, regulators) who need fire testing.

Helping them navigate complex regulations. You’ll be the person they call when they’re stuck.

Writing proposals that win work. Proper persuasive ones.
*
Conferences, meetings, site visits. Fewer sad sandwiches. More engineering.

What you’ll need:
5+ years in BD or sales. A degree? Helpful. MBA? Nice, not essential. You can write a proposal that doesn’t put people to sleep. You’re fine with a bit of science (we’ll teach you the rest).
