Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal to driving the growth of Martindale Electric by promoting our test equipment products across various industries. You will be responsible for expanding our customer base, increasing brand awareness, and solidifying our market position as the preferred choice for safe isolation solutions, handheld pat testers and much more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy Development & Execution:
* Promote Martindale’s test equipment products to key decision-makers across target market segments, including electrical contractors, facilities management companies, utilities, Merchants, test specialists and electrical wholesalers.
* Drive brand awareness through product demonstrations, workshops, and consultative selling approaches.
* Market Segmentation and Targeting:
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in key market segments.
* Develop tailored sales strategies to address the specific needs and challenges of each segment.
* Trade Shows & Industry Events:
* Represent Martindale Electric at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows, to showcase products, network with professionals, and stay updated on market trends.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a regional sales management role, ideally within the electrical, or test equipment sectors.
* Existing relationships at a senior level within FM and large National/Regional Contractors would be an advantage.
* Some knowledge of test equipment preferred (training can be given) but some electrical knowledge essential.
* Ability to work independently and use a CRM for reporting and account management essential
* Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Willingness to travel across the region to meet clients, attend industry events, and deliver product demonstrations.
* Ability to have technical discussions with end users an advantage.
