Responsibilities for Textiles Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging Textiles lessons across Key Stages. Teach sewing, fabric manipulation, pattern-making, and textile design techniques. Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and independent learning. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support academic achievement. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and promote practical learning opportunities. What You’ll Bring as Textiles Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Experience teaching Textiles within a secondary school setting. Strong subject knowledge and practical expertise in textile techniques and design. Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
