Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, including landscape maintenance and gardening tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in horticulture and experience with various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance on gardens and landscaped areas, ensuring they are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks.
* Manage irrigation systems, including installation, repair, and regular maintenance to ensure optimal water distribution.
* Assist in growing and cultivating plants, flowers, and shrubs as part of landscape enhancement efforts.
* Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Experience
* Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred.
* Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance work.
* Knowledge of irrigation systems and their operation is advantageous.
* Previous experience in growing plants or managing garden spaces will be beneficial.
* A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential.
