Epsilon Basics Ltd is a UK-registered technology consultancy specialising in data analytics, business intelligence, and professional data skills training. We work with SMEs and public-sector clients to help them make better use of their data — delivering reporting systems, improving data quality, and building capability through structured training programmes. Our work sits across two areas: hands-on analytics project delivery and a growing catalogue of Microsoft-platform training covering Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Excel. We are a small, ambitious team at an exciting point in our growth and are looking for a technically strong analyst and trainer to join us. Source, clean and reshape data from multiple systems and formats using Power Query and Microsoft Fabric, producing reliable data models that support accurate reporting. Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and insights that help clients make informed business decisions. Design and build production-quality Power BI dashboards and reports, including data model development, DAX measures, row-level security and published app workspaces. Architect and manage Microsoft Fabric environments, including lakehouses, ingestion pipelines, Spark notebooks and semantic model deployment. Plan and deliver instructor-led training sessions in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and data analytics fundamentals, drawing on active MCT accreditation to maintain a high standard of learning experience. Develop and update training modules, practical exercises, assessments and course content aligned to current Microsoft certification pathways, including PL-300 and DP-600. Contribute to client project delivery from requirements gathering through to handover, translating business needs into technical data solutions, and meeting agreed deadlines and specifications. Maintain clear documentation of data models, pipelines, reports and training materials, and apply consistent quality checks to all deliverables. Present analytical findings and training outcomes to clients and internal stakeholders in plain language, making complex data concepts accessible to non-technical audiences. Stay current with developments across the Microsoft data and analytics platform and bring relevant updates into both client work and training content.
