As part of the growing drive to diversify skill sets within primary care, this role offers a unique opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a general practice environment. You will work alongside GPs, nurses, ANPs, Clinical Pharmacist and other Paramedics as well as other allied health professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

* Provide urgent care, triage, and same-day appointments for patients with minor illness or injury.

We have a growing patient population of 16,500. Our mainsite is a brand-new, purpose-built surgery on the Exeter side of Crediton. We also provide care from our dispensing branch in the village of Thorverton.
Our multi-disciplinary practice-based team includes 3 Urgent Care Paramedics, a Clinical Pharmacist led prescribing team, and a remote GP team who support with administrative work. We are also an active member of the Mid Devon Healthcare PCN with additional support from PCN ARRS staff including, a strong social prescribing team and an in-house Mental Health Practitioner.
We are a training practice with a GP Registrar trainer, an F2 trainer and we also host medical students and nurse undergraduates.
We hold daily 30-minute coffee and clinical catch ups at 11am and offer regular protected time for Clinical Meetings.
Supervision is given to all Non-Medical Prescribers by a designated GP from the practice.

Job responsibilities
As an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care under the supervision of our GPs. You will work closely with healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, assisting with diagnostic procedures, and offering support to patients and their families.

* HCPC registered Paramedic
Experience
* Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience - preferably including urgent/emergency care.
* Experience working independently with strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Experience of working in GP practice
