We are looking to recruit an efficient and detail-oriented Conveyancing Legal Secretary to support our busy and well-established Conveyancing department. This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience handling residential property matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to conveyancing fee earners
* Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
* Preparing contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements, and related documentation
* Opening, managing, and closing files in line with compliance requirements
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
* Managing diaries, appointments, and key deadlines
* Assisting with billing, time recording, and general office administration
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary or similar role
* Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process
* Excellent typing, IT, and organisational skills
* A professional and confident manner when dealing with clients
* Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
* High attention to detail and accuracy
