Lead Salesforce Administrator
Hybrid working, Newcastle upon Tyne City centre.
Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw)
Salary circa £55,000 per annum (negotiable based on skills and experience) plus brilliant benefits including health cash plan!

As our Salesforce Lead, you’ll step into a pivotal role with the autonomy to shape how Salesforce is delivered, influence the way we work, and guide the team as their go-to expert and mentor.
You’ll be hands-on in planning, designing and delivering new capabilities and improvements, while keeping the platform healthy day to day. That means managing environments, performance and data quality, as well as supporting releases big and small. Working closely with our Salesforce Architect and project teams, you’ll turn business needs into secure, reliable solutions that colleagues love to use and that make a real difference to our services.
What you’ll do
1. Take a leading role in building clean, secure, and functionally rich Salesforce solutions that bring benefit to the business and its users.
2. Mentor and coach the Salesforce team, peer review their work, define best practice and build standards.
3. Work with IS, project teams and the wider business to enhance and improve Salesforce delivering real benefit for customers and colleagues.
4. Proactively manage environments, performance, data quality and updates across the Salesforce ecosystem.
5. Champion Salesforce across the business, driving adoption and making it easier for colleagues to use
6. Take a leading role in key ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives and challenge the team to keep improving our Salesforce development processes

You bring
7. Significant proven experience in a Salesforce Admin role and with Salesforce Certified Administrator status
8. A track record of building, configuring, and delivering Salesforce solutions that add real value.
9. Experience of coaching and mentoring colleagues with the ability to share knowledge and raise standards
10. Strong relationship-building skills to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
11. Proactive and solution-focused, using your tech know-how to spot improvements before problems arise
12. Experience of CI/CD pipelines (ideally Gearset) would be a bonus
