## About the project
We are building a web application with an embedded Unity 3D environment featuring virtual offices populated by AI agents (characters). The project is already live with a functional prototype.
## Base asset (important)
All characters in our app are based on this specific Unity Asset Store asset:
"Voxel 3D Character - WoodCutter Model" by MrMustache
It is a voxel/low-poly humanoid character with a humanoid rig, compatible with Unity
The goal is not to rebuild from scratch, but to stay within this visual style and extend it: new hairstyles, clothing variations, accessories, new character presets — all consistent with the existing voxel aesthetic.
## What we need
**3D / Art side:**
- Create variations of existing characters: hair styles, clothing, accessories (presets system) ( 50% male / 50% female )
- Maintain visual consistency with the existing voxel low-poly base style
- Add life to the virtual office environment: props, micro-animations, ambient details
**Unity Dev side (C#):**
- Implement a character customization/preset system
- Integrate new animations + animation state machine logic (blending, transitions)
- Integrate with the existing web application architecture
- Optimize for WebGL / web desktop performance
## Profile we're looking for
- Solid Unity C# experience
- Hands-on with character rigging, animation, and customization systems
- Comfortable working with and extending existing Asset Store assets
- Familiar with WebGL export and optimization
## Engagement
- Starting with a 1-2 week scoped mission
- Potential to become a long-term collaboration if the fit is right
- Remote / async work, English communication, flexible time zone
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
