JOB DESCRIPTION
How You’ll Do It
1. Coordinate, schedule and maintain Guest lessons
2. Utilize swing analysis technology and learning theories, and integrate teaching aids in all programs
3. Grow the golf instruction platform at your venue, through marketing and community outreach
4. Direct tournaments and summer camps
5. Work with the events team to promote and teach lessons at events
6. Walk the tee line on all levels during peak times (when not engaged in golf instruction) to market platform / give impromptu lessons
7. Supervise information requests regarding or pertaining to schedule of lessons and instructional series.
8. Manage and implement ideas for player development series at venue level
9. Manage club fitting, club repair and general maintenance of equipment
10. Maintain inventory of golf services tools, technology and teaching aids
11. Meet budgetary requirements for the golf services program
What We’re Looking For
12. 2-3 years’ experience teaching golf lessons with experience coaching different levels of golfers
13. 2-3 previous sales experience required
14. PGA Membership; Class A Certification preferred
15. Bachelor’s degree preferred
16. Management of an independent golf lesson program
17. Proven track record of successful instruction
18. Exceptional coaching ability
19. Social and interpersonal skills required to interact with all Topgolf Guests
20. Familiarity with swing analysis technology and launch monitor technology
21. Ability to develop positive and ongoing relationships with Guests
22. Excellent communication, time management and organization skills
23. Ability to work on a team
24. Energy and enthusiasm
25. A high level of self-awareness, receptivity to change and integrity
26. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time
27. Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
28. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time including manoeuvring up and down stairs
