We are looking to employ a full-time, 12-month fixed-term hardworking, conscientious individual who will work as an Administrator within the specialty of Mental Health Services for Older People providing support to the senior management team.
The service operates across Durham Tees Valley, providing mental health assessment, advice, diagnosis, treatment, and care planning to patients with complex needs (including but not limited to patients who may require assessment for dementia).
You will be responsible for providing high-quality, flexible administrative support.
Main duties of the job include supporting the senior management team to provide administrative support to the specialty, including diary management, understanding and application of Microsoft applications, and knowledge of IT applications.

Person Specification
Essential:
* Level 3 Qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management.
* Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 or O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9)).
* Experience of working in an administrative environment (diary management, filing systems, meeting coordination, minute taking, data input, collating, and presenting information).
* Customer Service experience (face-to-face, answering calls, correspondence).
* Experience of organizing, completing demands, and workloads.
* Experience of setting up and maintenance of administrative systems and processes.
* Experience of working autonomously and proactively.
* Understanding of data protection and the need for confidentiality and how to maintain this.
* Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
* Knowledge of office systems and processes.
Desirable:
* Level 3 Qualification in Leadership and Management.
* RSA Level 2 or equivalent secretarial/administrative experience in a clinical environment.
* Experience of supporting/supervising staff.
* Experience of handling monies and working within financial guidelines.
* Knowledge of NHS systems.
