Job Description
Following a period of growth, we have an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join us as a New Business Development Manager for the Northern Region. This role is focused on looking after existing business and growing the portfolio. The demands for success are high and therefore the successful applicant will need to have a proven track record in sales and management, preferably from a B2B service market. Employees quickly take over responsibility and act as an “entrepreneur within a corporation”. The Key Account Manager reports directly to the UK Sales Director.
YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
* Lead corporate sales efforts across the Northern Regions, developing local strategies, structures, and action plans to drive growth and increase market share.
* Manage and expand a portfolio of key corporate clients, including direct responsibility for the Top 10 accounts.
* Strengthen customer retention through up-selling initiatives and building strong relationships with key client decision-makers.
* Customize and implement new products, tools, and processes to fit local market needs.
* Collaborate with Global Account Management to ensure smooth local implementation of international customer agreements.
* Monitor and report on KPIs in line with targets set by the Sales Director and overall business objectives.
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
* Experience in a similar New Business Rental sales position in a competitive B2B environment
* Skills Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented approach. Resilience and adaptability in high-pressure environments
* Tools /Systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite & Salesforce.
* Mobility Willingness to travel throughout the Northern Region and attend evening events as required
* Soft Skills Highly motivated, dynamic and hands-on personality willing to go the extra mile
