Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join Bedelsford School’s friendly and supportive on‑site therapy team. You will work collaboratively with teachers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and other professionals to deliver high‑quality speech, language and communication support to our pupils.
Salary: NHS Benchmark Band 7, spine point 31-36 Actual Salary £35,384.45 £39,926.58 (FTE £51,743 - £58,385)
Location: Bedelsford School, Grange Road, KT1 2QZ
Working Pattern: 4 days per week, 28.75 hours per week, Term time only, day working from home hours and working from home to be negotiated
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Speech and Language therapy for students through individual, group and teacher‑directed sessions.
* Provide assessment for current and prospective pupils as needed.
* Contribute to training of professional staff and others as required.
* Provide written documents as needed at a professional standard.
Key Requirements
* Fully qualified SALT and State registered with the HPC.
* Continued Professional Development Portfolio.
* Related post‑basic training.
* Post‑registration training in Makaton and AAC.
* Dysphagia experience.
