We’re searching for a Senior Stock & Fulfilment Specialist to act as the crucial link between senior leadership, central functions, and the retail estate, driving accuracy, accountability, and exceptional customer outcomes.
The Role
This is a high-impact, strategic position where you’ll influence at every level, from shop floor to boardroom. You’ll own the fulfilment agenda, drive stock integrity, develop future-fit processes, and spend significant time in stores to embed best practice and build operational ownership. If you combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, this role puts you at the centre of a major transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
Fulfilment Strategy & Leadership
Own the end-to-end digital fulfilment agenda across all channels.
Influence senior stakeholders (including C-suite).
Align fulfilment operations with wider business strategy.
Represent fulfilment performance at senior forums.
Performance Management & Insight
Lead KPI measurement and continuous improvement.
Deliver clear insights via dashboards and reporting.
Drive accountability across all operational levels.
Maintain unfulfillment rates consistently below target.
Operational Excellence & Store Engagement
Spend 2–3 days per week in stores to embed best practice.
Champion stock accuracy and customer-focused fulfilment.
Lead workshops, forums, and engagement sessions.
Build local ownership of fulfilment performance.
Systems & Process Development
Work with IT, Supply Chain, and Operations to evolve fulfilment systems.
Drive simplification, automation, and process optimisation.
Ensure system development reflects real-world store requirements.
Innovation & Future Growth
Shape the next generation of fulfilment models.
Lead initiatives to improve speed, reliability, and accuracy.
Ensure new propositions are commercially and operationally viable.
About You
Essential:
Senior-level experience in retail operations, stock, or fulfilment.
Ability to influence—from store colleagues to Executive Committee.
Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
Deep understanding of fulfilment systems and stock processes.
Advanced analytical capability (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Excellent communication and strategic problem-solving skills.Desirable:
Experience with Click & Collect, last-mile, or large-scale fulfilment.
Multi-site retail leadership or digital transformation background.
Familiarity with WMS, OMS, or ERP systems.
Experience leading major change programmes.
