Night Guest Services Supervisor
£12.71 per hour
Ramada Solihull is in the town centre and near the Touchwood shopping centre. The hotel grounds are home to one of the oldest bowling greens in the UK, having 146 bedrooms, 150+ car park, 100-seater restaurant and 6 Conference & Event rooms with a maximum capacity of 200.
Duties and responsibilities of the Nights Guest Service Supervisor include:
* · Oversee the nights operation to maintain high standards.
* · Evaluate levels of Guest satisfaction and monitor trends, with a focus on continuous improvement
* · Maximise room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
* · Set nights departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures
* · Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the nights team members with an emphasis on training and teamwork
* · Ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area, and are continuously trained to learn and understand policies and practices
* · Monitor staffing levels to meet cover business demands
* · Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
* · Recruit, manage, train and develop the nights team
Our idea Reception Supervisor will have:
* · Previous supervisory experience within the hotel sector is essential
* · High level of IT proficiency
* · Knowledge in Opera or other reservation system desirable
* · High level of commercial awareness and sales capabilities
* · Experience of managing people and developing people
* · Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
* · Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
* · Ability to work under pressure
* · Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
* · Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
